Explore Our Diverse Selection of Trailing and Hanging Houseplants

Looking for a trailing plant? We have a great selection of hanging basket plants in 6″, 8″, and even 10″ pots. Hanging plants are an easy way to add life to indoor areas where space is limited. Typically, hanging plants trail down or sprawl out, but some can also be trained to climb. Hanging plants are also a great way to keep pets and plants separate, especially if your cat or dog tends to dig in the soil or chew on leaves.

One of the most common hanging plants we stock is Pothos. With leaves in various shades and variegations (Golden, Marble Queen, Neon, Pearls N Jade, and many more, as well as plain green), Pothos is a fantastic choice. Philodendron is another favorite, with heart-shaped leaves and many unique variations. Scindapsus, particularly Silver Satin and Silvery Ann, are adored for their striking foliage and textured leaves. Tradescantia (Wandering Jew) is popular for its purple, variegated, or pink foliage. A Staghorn Fern is perfect for bathrooms! Lipstick Plants require little water and even bloom. Hoyas are prized by collectors and are available in hanging baskets with various leaf shapes and bloom colors.

Strings of plants are slower-growing, smaller choices for baskets. Our selection may include String of Hearts, String of Pearls, String of Turtles, String of Bananas, String of Dolphins, String of Frogs, and more. Syngonium and Prayer Plants can also be found in hanging baskets.

Here are some of our most popular Hanging Plants

Ivy

Ivy

Typically easy to grow, ivy make great hanging plants. Their requirements differ with each variety, but they are typically very willing to grow even if you forget to water them often. It’s rewarding to watch their vines stretch down gracefully with new leaves sprouting as it grows.

Ferns

Ferns come mostly from the forest floor where they receive indirect, medium to bright light through tall trees. In your home or office, they’re best with the same degree of light and a good amount of humidity. Keep them evenly watered and you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful hanging plant.

Wandering Jew Plant

Wandering Jew

Beautiful purple and green foliage make the Wandering Jew a favorite hanging plant. They like bright indirect light with soil kept evenly moist. They should not be watered on the crown of the plant, as this can cause rot. And once your Wandering Jew begins to grow bigger, you can stem cuttings and start a new plant!

Succulents

There are lots of fun varieties of succulents to choose from! They love bright, indirect light for about half the day – direct sun too long burns their leaves. A healthy succulent needs soil that drains quickly. When watering, soak the plant thoroughly and let it dry completely.
